Announcing a new Tasting Experience

Vineyard Walk & Picnic tasting experience offered through Airbnb.

You are invited to a tour & wine tasting in our winery & vineyards finished with a picnic on our patio overlooking the coastal mountains. This is a chance to get up close and personal with the soil & vines that provide us the wonderful grapes we need to create our delicious wines. I am there to answer any and all questions about our vineyards and wines. Picnic lunch will be provided by Red Hills Market. RHM is located in the heart of Oregon wine country, and is the gathering place for local farmers, chefs and winemakers. Here you can enjoy the bountiful fruits of our local farms. Our marketplace is also a vibrant restaurant offering locally sourced, hand crafted food.

Oregon Wine Flies Free on Alaska Airlines

The easiest and cheapest way to get wine home is to pack it up, and fly it home. This way your wine arrives when you do, and you do not have to pay shipping fees or sales tax, or worry about the hot weather during the summer months. You are allowed to check wine as a suitcase on any airline for their checked bag fees (which is still cheaper than shipping fees and sales tax). Alaska Airline has it worked out with Oregon Wine that you do not have to pay a checked bag fee when you check a box of wine. You can read the details below. We sell the correct shipping boxes that you can pack up and use as a checked bag. Many of our customers, and all of us here at the winery fly wine this way all the time, and we have never had any issues with it. We have 3, 6 and 12 bottle boxes you can use for only $3, $6, or $12.

It’s easy to take a taste of Oregon wine country home with you if you’re an Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan member.

Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan members may check one case of wine (6 or 12 bottles) for free on your Alaska Airlines flight from Eugene, Medford, Portland, Redmond or Walla Walla, WA. To sweeten the deal, we invite you to enjoy a complimentary tasting when you show your in-bound boarding pass (paper or digital) and proof of your Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan membership at any of our more than 300 participating wineries.

Here are a few other things we think you’ll want to know…

  • One free checked case per Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan member
  • Mix and match or bring a whole case from your favorite Oregon winery
  • Be sure to read the important information below on how to pack your wine for travel
  • Free tastings do not apply on holiday weekends or during special winery events
